Read To Me Layout (Post Updated to Add Sketch)

I just loved these photos of my son with my niece.  After always being the younger brother, it was nice for him to get a chance to feel like the big kid when my sister's family came to visit.

These new Jillibean Soup patterned papers were perfect for this layout.  You can find them at of course!  I distressed the edges of the book page paper with my Heidi Swapp distressing tool and a little Quick Quotes chalk.  The Bookworm is a Bosskut Die that is one of my favorite dies in my collection (also available at Scrap-Mart).  I'm always so happy when I get to put him to use.  Here is a close-up of him [click to enlarge]:
The title was cut with Quickutz Marigold font and I chose it because I thought it matched a book-type font more than any other font in my die cut collection.  Thanks for stopping by today - hope you are having a great weekend!!

ETA:  Look I made a sketch!  If you like to work from sketches, here is one for the above layout:

I'm going to try to do more of these in the future - it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be - I just used PowerPoint and was able to colorize the image as well.
