Slime Making Fun

Just a quick layout to share today using the new Quickutz Flasks die. The fonts are QK Gazebo and QK Yogurt. I used glitter cardstock inside the flasks but it didn't scan well. Also, the title is cut in an orange color that matches the inside of the swirls on the background paper, but for some reason it scanned yellow and the background looks pink (it is really red and orange). The patterned paper and cardstock is all Creative Memories. Thanks for looking!

A Few Layouts To Share...

Still working on scrapping our trip to Chicago this summer. For our pictures from Shedd Aquarium, I used the Quickutz Relax Gift Set (font and most of the shapes), Bosskuts Octopus (exclusive for scrap-mart.com), Silhouette cut Vines for the seaweed, and retired Sizzlit dies for the shells on the far right. Patterned paper is retired Creative Memories sand and blue marble.

Here is the lead in page for the trip. I cut most everything with my Silhouette: Arrow; Title box; Safari truck (which looked like our white SUV more than any other car shape I could find); grass. Also used QK journaling box revolution die. The Interstate 55 sign was cut on my Cricut from the Going Places cartridge. The paper is Creative Memories and had both a car and an interstate sign printed on it. I didn't care for the style, so I simply placed my die cuts overtop.

Finally, a page done for a visit by my parents over the summer. I love this Basic Grey paper! I used the new Quickutz Central Park alphabet (love the clean lines of this alpha) and a revolution journal block.

Well Hello there! I realized it has been awhile since I have posted anything, so here are a few layouts I've been working on lately........Click on any photo to enlarge it for detail!

First up - a simple layout with a custom element curtesy of my Silhouette! I welded the fire border download with my text, and voila - instant embellishment! Paper is Creative Memories.
Next is my super cute Kindergarten grad and don't you just love the new Sizzix airplane/sign border die! It might be my new favorite. The font is QK Chicken Noodle and I also used the QK Schoolhouse and cloud border die here. I ran the schoolhouse roof through a cuttlebug mesh embossing folder to give it a cobblestone roof look. Background Paper is from Archivers but I'm not sure what brand.

Ok, here is a favorite layout but I couldn't get a good picture of it - it is better in person but you get the idea. Totally an 'everyday' layout! I used the QK Washer/Dryer die, along with the Clothspin die and Marigold font (for boys - life with was cut on my Silhouette). Paper is Me & My Big Ideas (I think).
Totally love that I can weld and shadow titles on my Silhouette. Here I used a true type font called Black Rose, and just welded and shadowed it. Paper is Sassafras Lass. Also used the QK Heart border.
Ah, some oldie but goodie photos from the dating phase. I used the QK Cityscape border, along with Diesel classic alpha and the vacation phrase die (for adventure). Paper is Creative Memories.
Thanks for looking! I'll try to post more often!!
