It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I can hardly believe it is almost the holiday season - with all the new holiday release dies, my scraproom is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Here is a simple layout using the new Quickutz Holiday font, old 4x4 adornments, and last year's lights border (love this). You can't really tell in the scan but the lights are cut in glitter paper. I cut the large scalloped circle on my Cricut Expression using the Storybook cartridge. Click to enlarge.
Next is a work in took awhile to get the Gingerbread house just the way I wanted it - I still may tinker with this a bit (I'm thinking of converting it to a 2 page LO), but here it is for now. I used a lot of QK dies on this: Flourish Border; Holiday 4x8 font; 4x4 Tree; 4x4 Snowman; Cloud border (for the snow). The Gingerbread House was cut on my Silhouette using a design from the Jingle portfolio. Background paper is from Archivers. Click to enlarge.

Finally, a non-holiday quick and easy layout using the retired Sizzix/Ellison Preppie font (one of my all time favorites). The background of the journal circle is a Spellbinders Pinking Cirlce (love those). The journaling in a circle was done on the new version of Creative Memories Storybook Creator software - you can journal inside any shape and just print it out - I love that feature! The background paper is also Creative Memories from the Discover collection I think. Click to enlarge.
Thanks for stopping by!
