This card was made using the following Quickutz dies: Bowl; Popcorn; Scallop Borders; Aquarius and Moxie SM fonts. The patterned paper is Scenic Route. The bowl was cut on the fold to create an interactive element. This is a wonderful technique that adds interest to a card or scrapbook page. Simply score and fold your paper, set it on the die just inside the edge you are wanting to connect (use removable tape if needed) and roll through the Revolution and Voila! You may need a shim for thicker paper, but it works great for most papers. Not only will this technique allow you to create interactive elements for your projects, if the shape is big enough you can make mini cards - the Rev Tag die works great, or make dolls holding hands! Also, you can use this technique to create entirely new shapes all together. Take a look at the open bowl - it is a perfect hourglass shape! That bowl is seriously one of my favorite dies. Think of the things you could fill it with: cherries, holiday candy, fruit, veggies, etc.
